Hello

William Hollon

Bill Hollon has over 25 years of experience in high technology sales ranging from engineering support to sales and sales management. His specialty has always been creating sales organizations that can meet corporate growth objectives while maximizing the revenue per salesperson.

Bill has over 10 years experience working with Miller Heiman’s core programs of Strategic Selling, Conceptual Selling and Large Account Management Process.

He was instrumental in selecting Miller Heiman as the key sales process at Microchip Technology and soon earned his certification as a Client Associate in all three programs. As a Client Associate he was responsible for organizing and facilitating the training of new salespeople in the US, Europe and Asia; while simultaneously managing Microchip’s Global Account Program.

Bill began his sales career as a Field Application Engineer for Monolithic Memories Inc.(MMI) in Dayton, Ohio. His main responsibility was assisting customers with technical issues and was also responsible for training customers and salespeople on the technical aspect of their products. After AMD acquired MMI, Bill moved into a sales position covering the Chicago region.

From there he moved into Regional Sales Management in the Midwest, and was responsible for revenue and growth in 14 states. Based on his success in the Midwest, he was transferred to Germany where he spent 3 years as Central Europe’s Area Sales Manager, with 8 country managers reporting into him. Bill quickly grew the territory by over 300%. This office has remained one of Microchip’s most successful territories.

After returning from Germany, Bill developed and staffed Microchip’s Global Account Program. This program has an outstanding record of developing customer partnerships while maintaining corporate profitability goals by using Strategic Selling, Conceptual Selling and Large Account Management Process. This combination of sales positions along with global responsibilities has provided Bill a unique understanding of the entire sales process.

Since joining Miller Heiman as a Sales Consultant, Bill has focused on technology and engineering based companies ranging from semiconductors and custom engineering to companies developing alternate fuel sources.

In 2009, Bill became an accredited seller and deliverer of MathMarketing’s proven B2B marketing training, Funnel Academy.
